OVERVIEW
The MA/E8/S2/T8 is a 690 CID sound masking loudspeaker assembly consisting of an 8C10PAX - 8" O.D. dual cone loudspeaker with a 10 oz. magnet and a 4W-70V rotary select transformer. 4' suspension chain is supplied.
FEATURES
- The loudspeaker assembly is equipped with an integral single voltage line transformer for 70.7V operation. Five tap levels are available at 4W, 2W, 1W, 0.5W and 0.25W.

The loudspeaker mechanism is 8” O.D., co-axial type, with 10 oz. (nominal) BeFe magnet structure.

The loudspeaker weighs no more than 4.1 Kg (9 lb).

The loudspeaker is listed “City of Chicago Approved”- Material and construction permits use where ceiling plenum is part of the air handling system.
Performance measurement and specification of a typical production unit conforms to EIA 426A standards:
Sensitivity (SPL at 1m [3.3 ft] with 2.83V input, averaged from 100 Hz to 10 kHz) is at least 97 dB-SPL.
Usable frequency response extends from 60 Hz to 17 kHz (10 dB below rated sensitivity) with no external equalization.
Rated power for nominal 8-Ohm unit is at least 20W continuous pink noise.
The loudspeaker has a nominal conical polar coverage pattern of 90 degrees (at -6 dB point), averaged 500 Hz to 10 kHz.
