Overview:

LMX 48 POWERFUL, COMPACT AND FULLY FEATURED STANDALONE DIGITAL AUDIO SYSTEM PROCESSING WITH PEERLESS CREDENTIALS

The LMX 48 provides an 4 x 8 analog I/O, 4 × 8 AES3 digital I/O 8 × 8 Dante networked I/O and two interfaces of AES50 where up to 24 channels from the up to 96 AES50 channels can be selected and used as inputs or outputs – this makes the signal routing very flexible. The 16 input routers have four fully programmable priorities for redundant input operation and provide seamless failover between the inputs.

SHARED INPUTS BY LINKING

Two LMX units may be linked to share each other’s inputs through the dual 24x24 AES50 ports (8 channels of Analog, 8 channels of AES3 and 8 channels of Dante), providing extremely low latency digital audio transfer.

PEACE OF MIND ON UNSTABLE POWER GRIDS

Being designed to function as a central point for critical audio signals in high profile contexts, the LMX 88 leaves nothing to chance. Dual redundant internal power supplies with separate locking AC inlets are provided to let you configure a backup solution with redundant power sources and optionally have a warning when not both mains are powered.

SIGNAL FLEXIBILITY

LMX provides the ultimate combination of input/output signal flexibility and fail-safe operation. Audio inputs are accepted via the Dante network and AES50 as well as on connectors for AES3 digital and analog. Simple programming in Lake Controller allows multiple, user-configured “Scene” presets to be stored (input scenarios). In addition, as with all Lake Dual Redundant products Dante Audio switch seamless between Primary and Secondary, and Control can also be used on either Primary or Secondary interface.

LMX provides a total of sixteen input routers which can be independently configured with up to four input fail-over priority settings. And the output of any of these input routers can go to any of the Modules via the Module Input Mixer, also be patched directly to any analog, AES3, Dante/AES67 or AES50 output – without using any of the valuable Module processing channels.
