Overview
DPA gooseneck microphones have quickly become a very popular choice for podium mics as well as for conference room usage as either tabletop or ceiling mount.
These microphones have, on numerous occasions, been the preferred type to turn to when high speech intelligibility is paramount. This for instance is the fact at parliaments where multiple languages are to be simultaneous interpreted and the interpreters must catch every word and nuances of the spoken word and in a split second deliver the perfect translation.
In conference use, boardroom applications and videoconference situations the DPA mics gives you trouble-free installations and delivers pristine, clear sound.
DPA's gooseneck microphone solutions are primarily for the installation segment.
4098 CORE Supercardioid Microphones
CORE by DPA technology has been added to the 4098 microphone, lifting sound quality even more, just like all of the other products using CORE technology. The 4098s dynamic range has been increased by 8 dB, so that the 1% THD is lifted significantly to 133 dB.
With very low noise and a high sensitivity, 4098 CORE Supercardioid Microphones offer the most clear, transparent, and natural sound available on the miniature mic market. The mics are capable of handling extremely high SPL before clipping, which allows the mic to deliver high speech intelligibility even when the speaker gets excited and starts to speak VERY loudly. With a linear response, low distortion and an extremely large dynamic range, these mics sound great no matter how challenging the environment.
In addition, speaking into the side (off-axis) of the microphone doesn’t make the audio sound worse, it just drops the level of your voice.
