Overview

3G-SDI Arduino Shield from Blackmagic Design is a programmable camera controller. In short, this device is a simple computer that can be attached to other devices to make custom solutions. You will easily install this unit as well as download the IDE (Developer Software) from the Arduino website then load the Shield's 'sample code'.

With this 3G-SDI Arduino Shield, you will have signature programs that are so-called as Sketches. The Shield of Arduino only uses the 12C Bus interface which means there is a compatibility to other micro-controllers as well as the Raspberry Pi. Controls that are supported via the SDI connections of this device such as Tally, Gain, Detail, Shutter, Zoom, and Focus.
