Sonance's IS10 invisible speakers are perfect for large residential spaces such as entryways, living rooms or multipurpose rooms.
These speaker are the pinnacle of the Sonance “Designed to Disappear” strategy. The all new Motion Flex Invisible Series incorporates breakthroughs in installation and audio quality and firmly places Sonance as the unrivalled leader in discreet performance audio.
The Sonance Air Flex Drive Unit is a high bandwidth midrange and high frequency transducer combination that deliver exceptionally smooth mid and crystal clear highs. The Air Flex Woofer couples a fibre glass woofer to an acoustically inert diaphragm, trapping a pocket of air that can be pushed without loss to deliver robust and powerful bass.
Sonance Motion Flex Technology is a revolutionary approach to designing flat panelled invisible speakers, featuring a Wave Flex Drive Unit, an Air Flex Woofer, an Acoustically Isolated Baffle and a Constant Directivity Crossover. Sonance Constant Directivity Crossover (CDX), which provide smooth off-axis frequency response, resulting in nearly 180° of horizontal and vertical dispersion.
Sonance has revolutionised the invisible speaker category beyond just performance and design by redefining how invisible speakers are installed and standardised with the Sonance Depth Identification Sensing Calibration (DISC) System. This invisible speaker comes complete with supporting installation accessories such as pre construction brackets, space savers and noise isolating enclosures.
The installation accessories ensure a simple step by step process throughout the construction phase to reserve speaker placement and ensure a flawless finish.
Please Note:Important: Sonance Invisible Series speakers must only be skimmed with an appropriate lightweight flexible compound such as British Gypsum's Easi Fill. Do not use standard pink Multi Finish plaster. Using the incorrect finishing plaster will adversely affect the audio performance and will invalidate the warranty.

FeaturesMotion Flex Defined
- Motion Flex Technology offers a suite of advancements in invisible speaker engineering
- Delivers unparalleled acoustic performance from an invisible speaker
Wave Flex Drive Unit
- High bandwidth midrange and high frequency transducer drive unit
- Propagates sound via a bending wave principle
- Delivers velvety smooth mids and crystal clear highs
- Enables a lower crossover point to facilitate high fidelity listening
Air Flex Woofer
- Moves sound waves up and down like a piston
- Providing a robust and powerful bass that defies expectations
- Delivers unsurpassed sonic quality
Acoustically Isolated Baffle
- Diaphragm is split into two active areas which are isolated from each other
- Prevents the bending motion of the Wave Flex Drive Unit from interfering with the piston motion of the Air Flex Woofer
- Enabling ultra low distortion and a level of sonic transparency not previously possible in invisible speakers
Constant Directivity Crossover (CDX)
- Provides uniquely smooth off axis frequency response
- Resulting in greater fidelity and coverage for each speaker
- CDX crossover allows for almost 180° of horizontal and vertical dispersion
Installation Advantages
- Sonance DISC System to standardise thickness of topping compound on the job site with precision to achieve consistent performance from every speaker and subwoofer
- Includes models compatible with 304.8mm / 12” on centre stud and joist spacing
- Every model in the line can be installed as finish up to or finish over
- Optional installation accessories: pre-construction brackets, space savers, and noise isolating enclosure
- For metal frame or vapour barrier ceilings installation please see HAB-DRYBOXX in the related items
Sonance Depth Identification Sensing Calibration (DISC) System
- DISC Calibration System
- High accuracy depth gauge and embedded locator discs
- Measures the thickness of a finish applied over the surface of a Sonance Invisible Speaker
- Consistent finish and performance within specifications every time
Please Note: Important: Sonance Invisible Series speakers must only be skimmed with an appropriate lightweight flexible compound such as British Gypsum's Easi Fill.
