This Windjammer for the Shure Motiv MV88 Digital Stereo Microphone is manufactured by Rycote and helps reduce handling noise, plosives, and the pickup of wind noise while helping to protect the microphone in the elements. The Windjammer is made to tailor fit the microphone and is strongly recommended when recording outside or indoors where HVAC noise might otherwise distort the signal.
