Overview
The RCF KXM 20-A is a new active two-way stage monitor from RCF's KX Series, debuted at major pro-audio trade shows in early 2026. It is specifically designed for high-output stage monitoring with tour-ready mechanics and advanced networked control.
Specifications
- Acoustic Output: Delivers a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 131 dB.
- Power: Features a high-performance 2,000-watt peak power amplifier.
- Transducers: Utilizes a symmetrical dual 8-inch neodymium driver configuration.
- Coverage: Provides constant-directivity coverage of 90° x 70°.
The KXM 20-Aintegrates RCF's latest digital signal processing and remote management technologies:
- RDNet Networked Management: Allows for full remote control and in-depth monitoring of the speaker's status, including temperature, limiters, and transducer health.
- Onboard DSP: Features advanced FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control (BMC) technology. FiRPHASE ensures zero-degree phase linearity for transparent sound imaging, while BMC optimizes woofer excursion to deliver deep, stable low frequencies without affecting transducer stability.
- Tour-Ready Construction: The enclosure is crafted from water-resistant Baltic birch plywood and coated with durable polyurea paint. It also features fanless heat dissipation via a machined aluminum structure and waterproof powerCON TRUE1 TOP mains connectors.
