Overview
VNET INTERFACES VNET2-DANTE BRIDGE
The VNET2-DANTE BRIDGE is a rackmountable device that enables the connection of a computer or IT system to a range of products that do not natively support the Dante audio protocol, including VNET networked loudspeaker systems. Capable of driving a network span up to 1 km (without digital audio) and 25 devices, 600 m with digital audio. The VNET2- DANTE BRIDGE allows the PC user to convert Dante audio to analogue (for connection to any product with analogue inputs) with or without VNET control (for use with 1st generation VNET equipped products).
Connectivity
Power for the VNET2-DANTE BRIDGE can be provided by connecting to a Power Over Ethernet (POE) switch, or through the implementation of the VNET INTERFACE POWER SUPPLY (available separately), which can power up to 2 VNET interfaces. The VNET INTERFACE RACK MOUNT provides the ideal solution for up to 3 devices to be housed in a standard 1U 19" bay. VNET2-DANTE BRIDGE's ultra-compact footprint fits perfectly into standalone desktop/portable applications, where it can be used in close proximity to a desktop PC or laptop. Connectivity to a Windows PC or laptop is simple and costeffective using standard Ethernet cabling, with interconnections between VNET devices via Cat5 cables and RJ45 connectors.
