Introducing the next generation ceiling boxes, the CB-22P+. FSR's line of ceiling boxes has been reimagined with exciting new features. The CB-22P+ Ceiling Enclosure is designed for classrooms, conference and meeting rooms supporting a projector and control equipment. This 2’x2’ enclosure has ample room for two full rack pieces of equipment or four half-rack pieces on the removable shelf. The 2-RU rack rails are repositionable allowing flexibility when positioning your equipment. The unit includes an external AC receptacle and a switch/circuit breaker on the ceiling surface, and five AC outlets ergonomically spaced to allow room for wall warts inside the enclosure.The locking access door has a white trim ring, similar to the ceiling grid, that can now hold an optional decorative metal plate or ceiling tile.

The ceiling boxes have dual-use integrated threaded rod mounts for ease of installation. The load rating for the pole has increased to 100 lbs. and the shelf is rated to hold 40 lbs. A larger removable dual-tilting equipment shelf with repositionable 2-RU rack rails will facilitate ease of access and visibility. The new secured keyed cam lock access door provides security and easy access to the equipment in the box. 

These CB+ pole versions now include optional decorative metal plates for the pole rail cover and cover closure, eliminating the need for cutting ceiling tile. The pole rail cover allows for 3 configurable locations to position your projector. The access door and hinge have been streamlined to allow for easier removal and re-attaching of the door. The access door is  secured with a quick disconnect safety cable preventing the door from falling. An optional upgraded field-installed low-noise fan kit with a temperature-controlled variable speed can be ordered with the ceiling box. 

The optional SG-120HW is a “Type 2 Surge Protective Device” used to protect branch circuits against damage from electrical transients occurring on the AC line. It provides protection against transients in all 3 modes; Line to Line, Line to Neutral, and Neutral to Ground. A diagnostic LED indicates ground presence, system power and that surge protection is active.
