Overview
Gel Saver is a specialized dichroic coated filter designed to increase the life of darker blue and green gels. By blocking some infrared (heat) and some visible red light, Gel Saver protects blue and green color filters from early burnout and adds significant time to gel life. It is intended only for blue and green gel colors, and should be removed for other colors or no-color fixture use. Gel Saver comes with its own holder and is designed for the gobo slot of any standard Source Four fixture for easy installation and removal.
