Overview

The Echoflex Solutions MBI is a wireless switch station, available in 2, 4, or 8 button formats which communicate wirelessly with Echoflex lighting controllers. Each pair of buttons operates like a single paddle rocker switch driving lights ON/OFF or adjusting dimming levels on linked Echoflex lighting controllers. Linking other switch pairs from the same station to controllers in different areas provides multi-zone control from a single station.

The low profile and screw-less face plate give the MBI a sleek contemporary appearance. The station respond to a button press with a slight audible click and a green LED blink. The MBI is powered by a replaceable coin cell battery and has an expected lifetime of 100,000 actuations over 10 years. When the battery power gets low, the station indicates this condition using a single red LED blink upon any button press.

The station supports Range Confirmation® technology which provides visual indication of signal strength to a linked Echoflex controller via on-board LEDs. The MBI switches are designed to fit in a standard wall outlet or mud ring (back support plate provided for mud ring installation) or they can be flush mounted with screws. For installations over line voltage boxes, a barrier plate kit (separate order item) is available. See Accessory section below for UL approved barrier kits.
