Overview
Response MIDI Gateway
The Response MIDI Gateway can send and receive info in all flavors of MIDI: Note, Show Control (MSC), and Time Code (MTC). Eos consoles can generate and send MSC or listen for MSC commands to trigger cues via the MIDI Response Gateway. And for when you really need to be in sync, the MIDI Response Gateway will communicate MIDI Timecode to your console to make sure everything stays on track.
The Gateway also translates MIDI to and from UDP for the ultimate in integration with ETC and third-party products. Since standard USB MIDI is supported, the Gateway can be used with thousands of existing PC and Mac applications.
Response SMPTE Gateway
Thousands of modern multimedia shows depend on SMPTE LTC timecode for synchronization and the Response SMPTE Gateway brings that signal to your Eos-family console reliably. The Gateway receives timecode via a 3-pin XLR connector. A 3.5mm (1/8-inch) headphone jack adapter to XLR converter is also included with the SMTPE Gateway.
Gadget II
A portable USB to two five-pin XLR interface, Gadget II connects via USB to any computer without a network infrastructure. When used withPC- or Mac-based ETCnomad controllers, Gadget II outputs levels via DMX and initiates bidirectional communication using RDM. The device canalso be used with UpdaterAtor or Concert software to interact with RDM enabled fixtures or to update ETC devices.
