FGN9313 acts as an external power supply for N-series encoders and
decoders. The 12V output from the wall wart is obtained from 120VAC or
240VAC input using a combination of transformers, diodes, and other
in-built configurations. The adapter provides a constant voltage supply
to the connected electronic devices and promotes heat reduction and
electronic noise reduction. The external power adapters use only
voltages low enough to be a safety hazard internally for electronic
devices.
