Overview
AJA’s OG-ROI-DVI is an openGear card that allows exceptionally high-quality conversion of computer and DVI signals to 3G-SDI baseband video. With incredible Region of Interest image scaling as well as aspect and frame rate conversion, OG-ROI-DVI fulfills the growing need to properly incorporate computer signals into the video world without sacrificing budget or space.

Region of Interest
Eliminate extra interface clutter and menu bars and extract only the portion of the computer screen you want.
OG-ROI-DVI is fully compatible with the free Ross DashBoard application, offering interactive selection of a Region of Interest from the incoming computer signal. You have full control over how that region is scaled to the output resolution using AJA’s high quality scaling algorithms for the cleanest picture quality possible.
Take full control of aspect ratio, image rotation, and frame rate conversion with on-screen controls in the DashBoard software that shows you exactly what your source and output will look like, including the formats that are coming in and the choices you have made for the signal going out.
Connectivity
OG-ROI-DVI utilizes a direct DVI loop through, allowing it to be placed in-line so you still have a connection to a computer monitor while extracting to SDI. The reference input ensures the SDI signal out of OG-ROI-DVI is locked for use throughout a production or facility.
Audio
OG-ROI-DVI accepts 2-channel analog audio from 2x 3-pin terminal blocks connectors. The audio source can be selected in the DashBoard software and is embedded into the SDI output. This allows computer audio to be embedded within the SDI signal for easy, synchronized routing.
openGear Compatibility
The openGear standard ensures that AJA cards will be compatible with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. With a growing list of products, openGear is the standard for professional rackframe solutions.
Flexible I/O
The modular rear panel allows custom I/O connections per card (included with individual cards).
Failsafe
The optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure.
Ethernet Access
A standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Ross DashBoard software application for overall frame communication. Optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
Cooling
While many of AJA's openGear cards are energy-efficient, the high-density nature of rackmount cards can generate heat in a small space. Integrated fans in the OG-X-FR keep internal components operating at acceptable temperatures, leading to improved reliability and longer card life.
OG-X-FR offers more power and cooling for the most demanding UltraHD, 12G-SDI and IP workloads.
Smart Power
OG-X-FR accommodates 2 front-loaded, hot-swappable power supplies. Each power supply contains an independent cooling fan, status LED, and a front mounted power switch.

Easy Access
A fold-down front panel provides you quick access to any of the installed cards for easy maintenance or replacement without having to remove the rack frame or climb behind the rack.
