openGear Dual 12G-SDI/DANTE 64-Channel Embedder/Disembedder, DashBoard Support

SKU: AJA-OG-DANTE-12GAM
MSRP: $3,085.00

Overview

The AJA OG-DANTE-12GAM is an openGear, Dante/AES67/2110-30/RAVENNA AoIP audio embedder/disembedder, with dual 12G-SDI input and outputs providing up to 32-channels of audio embedding and 32-channels of disembedding simultaneously, with a total I/O capability of 64-channels. OG-DANTE-12GAM provides the bridge between SDI and audio over IP (AoIP) infrastructures.

Dante audio and other IP Audio standards provide digital audio distribution over local and wide-area networks with low latency, using off-the-shelf network infrastructure. This offers many advantages over analog, AES, and MADI, including audio system scalability, ease of installation, and simplified wiring.

A fully populated AJA OG-X-FR openGear frame with ten OG-DANTE-12GAM cards provides an incredible 640-channels of audio bridging in a slim 2RU rack-mountable form factor.

Features

  • Support for 12G/6G/3G-SDI audio embedding to and disembedding from the Dante audio ecosystem
  • Dual, and independent 12G-SDI input and output ports, each supporting 16 audio channels, totaling 64-channels per card
  • 1x Primary and 1x Secondary GigE ports for Dante network redundancy
  • 64-channels of simultaneous SDI/Dante audio bridging per card
  • 2x Internal Signal Generators which enables transmitting Dante audio channels over SDI without having an external SDI source signal
  • Supports HDR pass-through
  • Ross DashBoard software support for remote signal status and configuration
  • Compatible with a range of Dante software from Audinate including Dante Controller for routing and configuration choices
  • High density and compact form factor, enabling 10 cards to be utilized in a single openGear frame for up to 640-channels of SDI/Dante audio bridging
  • Supported within OG-X-FR and OG-3-FR openGear frames
  • Hot swap capable
  • Five-year warranty

HDR Pass-Through Support

HDR or High Dynamic Range, provides the ability to display a wider and richer range of colors, much brighter whites, and much deeper, darker blacks than SDR or Standard Dynamic Range signals allow. This gives your imagery a more ‘dynamic’ look and allows for natural true to life colors to be communicated to your audience.

openGear Compatibility

The openGear standard ensures that AJA cards will be compatible with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. With a growing list of products, openGear is the standard for professional rackframe solutions.

Flexible I/O

The modular rear panel allows custom I/O connections per card (included with individual cards).

Failsafe

The optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure.

Ethernet Access

A standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Ross DashBoard software application for overall frame communication. Optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.

Ross DashBoard Software

DashBoard software offers quick and convenient configuration and control of openGear cards on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
